Job Title: IT Support Technician
Position Overview
Irwin is seeking a dynamic technical support specialist to provide exceptional user hardware and software support. This role provides the opportunity to build expertise with a variety of equipment including laptops and other hardware, network connectivity, software licensing and administration, Windows and MacOS software, and more.
Responsibilities
- Configure and procure PCs/laptops, loading software and administering enterprise licenses.
- Monitor support tickets for associate service requests to troubleshoot reported problems and take necessary steps to solve them.
- Deploy and support manufacturing equipment such as barcode scanners and tablets
- Manage operating system patch and update deployment across the organization
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
- 2 years of hands-on experience in technical support role
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established service level agreements and deadlines in a production environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and loud machinery. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
